Poem for fraternity

Friends are you all who read my letter
even some being atheists or believers
Being brief with my words is better
a lot has been said by other singers

The world has never felt terror like then
The panic was in Asia, today has no end
Pandemic is an intimate reflection of fear
Everywhere it will be, soon you will hear

We are aware that thousands will be sick
and that among these, some will fall dead
What has caused astonishment and dread
There is no defense with money or stick

So, in the face of the terrible realization
What should be our best consideration?
Pointing out someone beyond as guilty
Humanity does not need be in opposity

We already live with values of freedom
Now we need the equality and fraternity
Let's practice these magical values again
And the world will experience less pain
